Nuclear Receptor Function in Health and Disease. Four major project areas:

  • Hormonal regulation of lung development and function
  • Glucocorticoids and T-cell function
  • Aldosterone, actions in the heart and during heart failure
  • Glucocorticoids, Obesity and the Brain

Techniques/Expertise:

Steroid Receptor biology and measurement of a range of steroids by RIA
Many techniques of Molecular Biology

Mouse gene-targeting and transgenic technologies
